Girl Scout Troop 3624 Launches New Website with Help from Local Digital Agency

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our new troop website! This exciting project was made possible through a collaboration with TheeDigital, a Raleigh-based digital agency that mentored our sophomore Girl Scouts in web design and development.

Girls Scouts and TheeDigital

What We Learned

Under the guidance of TheeDigital’s Keri Rosemond and Alana Topakian, our troop learned essential web development skills including:

  • Site structure planning
  • Wireframing
  • WordPress content management
  • Building pages with custom Gutenberg blocks

The new website will serve as our digital hub for:

  • Connecting with community service project partners
  • Reaching out to potential mentors
  • Sharing troop updates and achievements

Our WordPress Website

TheeDigital’s team equipped us with WordPress as our content management system, making it easy for troop members to build out our website with our photos and text. Their custom theme and training have given us the tools we need to connect with the community on the web.

Website Designer Badge

We’re especially proud that this project helped our troop members earn their Website Designer badges while gaining real-world technical skills. Special thanks to TheeDigital for investing in the next generation of female tech leaders!

Stay tuned for updates as we continue to grow our online presence and strengthen our community connections through this new platform.
